So I haven't even applied yet and I'm already thinking about what job I want. So far I've read about people working in the country pavilions in Epcot as food and beverage workers. As well as a Custodial person (Ben), food and beverage people for the resorts and life guarding.
Now I know I DO NOT want to do life guarding. I love swimming and all but no- no life guarding for me not qualified and not comfortable in a life-saving position. If I was I'd be going to med-school to become a doctor.
I was strongly considering food and beverage as you get a wide variety of jobs all mashed into one which I think is VERY cool. As well from my trips to Disney I actually remember seeing those positions alot where as I can't remember (granted I was in grade 4 last time I went) seeing people at rides or cleaning up.
However, Ben makes custodial sound soo much fun and not as bad as people would imagine it. So now it's in the top 2 of my job wants when I get to WDW.
Well I'm blogging I might as well blog about the rest of my life so you can get to know me a bit better. I just spend the week home (Windsor, Ontario area) and spend alot of time with two fabulous people, which made coming home (London, Ontario area) very hard as did the look my puppies gave me when they saw my bags and me heading out the door.
Sadly it doesn't look like I'll be home until the end of July because I have alot of minor events around town that I want to attend as well I am babysitting attempting to save up money. I have to save up money for a 4 day retreat I'm going to in Ottawa, Ontario called Project Acorn which is a leadership retreat for people within the Queer community ages 16-24. (P.S. in case you didn't notice I don't know how to do alot of stuff in HTML but I do know how to do links that appear as words. They make me feel special so I do them as often as possible). But anyways I digress. I have to save money for that as well as I'm off to Seattle for the month of August for Camp Ten Trees where I will work as Junior Staff. It's a camp for children in the queer community. And is my second home and I can't imagine a summer without it!
I hope that when I work in Disney next year I'll be able to fenagle things so I don't have to miss camp next summer, because choosing between the two is just to hard.
I'm soo excited for the next couple months but sad I won't really be able to go home. But if the horse won't go to the water bring the water to the horse- which is why I'm excited for the end of June as the "water" so to speak aka my friends I spent the last week with are coming to visit! I haven't had friends visit me since I moved up. Which is really sad but most of my friends went to University themselves or are in grade 12 so neither can come visit that much, but that's why there's SUMMER! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Summer.
But I think I may close this blog with a warning that my grammar sucks as does my spelling but I don't really care about either. My blog is readable which is all that really matters and I'm bringing you as much Disney Excitement as I can.
